In the construction of earth moving machinery, I think you will often see a kind of mechanical equipment – bulldozer.

I don’t know if you have ever observed that there are actually two kinds of common bulldozers: a tracked bulldozer and a wheeled bulldozer.

Tracked bulldozers are made of tracked tractors equipped with bulldozing shovels;

Tyre bulldozers are made from wheeled tractors equipped with bulldozer blades.

What is the difference between the two?

Crawler bulldozers have good adhesion performance, small ground pressure, good passability, strong climbing ability, but low travelling speed, suitable for poor conditions;

Wheeled bulldozers are fast, flexible, and do not damage the road surface, but the traction is small and the passage is poor.

They are used for short-distance push earth, slag and other operations.

Bulldozer operation, relying on mechanical traction, to complete the soil cutting and pushing transport. Configuration of other work devices can be completed shovelling, transporting soil, filling, levelling, compaction and loosening, root removal, removal of stone debris and other operations, is a widely used construction machinery in earthworks.
