Concrete mixer trucks, known as concrete mixer trucks, are specialised trucks used to transport concrete for mixing construction; due to its shape, it is also often referred to as a conch truck. These trucks are equipped with a cylindrical mixing drum to carry the mixed concrete.
The drum is kept rotating during transport to ensure that the concrete does not solidify. After transporting the concrete, the inside of the mixing bowl is usually rinsed with water to prevent hardened concrete from taking up space and reducing the volume of the bowl.
The mixer truck consists of two types of chassis, transmission system, hydraulic system, frame, mixing tank, inlet and outlet devices, water supply system, manoeuvring system, ladder and other parts. The front end of the mixing tank is connected with the reducer and mounted on the front platform of the frame, and the back end is supported by two wheels mounted on the back platform of the frame through the raceway.
At present, the effective volume of the mixer trucks produced by the company is 8~15 square metres.
